Here are some things to consider:
Here are some things to consider:
- I only work on a large canvas--30x40 inches (Freud could speculate on that, LOL!)
- I prefer to meet the subject for a photo session and color analysis. The in-person meeting is important for helping capture the subject's true look and character.
- Paintings are on 2-inch profile canvases, so they DO NOT have to be framed.
- It is my artistic preference to not paint babies or the deceased. I feel that a baby's appearance changes so quickly, and in the other case I would only be copying a photograph. I don't believe either case would be doing the subject of the portrait justice.
- Portrait prices vary, and I am willing to consider monthly payment plans.
- When considering the placement of your portrait, you should remember that the style of my portraits causes them to dominate a room. Therefore room and wall selection is important.
